Recognition for the ‘Stellingen City Entrance’

We are delighted to have received recognition for our design, developed jointly with A24 Landschaft, in the competition “Urban redevelopment of the area on Kieler Straße / Volksparkstraße”. The Hamburg district of Stellingen is characterized on the one hand by idyllic residential areas. On the other hand, it is dissected by central traffic axes. To date, there is no clear center.
The aim of the design is to unite the two different qualities of the Kammerbalken commercial area in the north and the residential area in the south via the new “Stellingen city entrance” in such a way that an urban quarter with a wide range of options for living and working is created.
