Recognition of Haisterkirch’s In-Town Development

The Haisterkirch neighborhood in Bad Waldsee is to be further developed as a place characterized by short distances, a sense of community, and a distinct spatial identity.
To this end, a design competition was held, in which the proposal developed by our firm in collaboration with Grüne Welle received an honorable mention.
Our concept strengthens the village center through new public amenities, revitalizes existing buildings, and strategically complements new forms of housing. The Haisterbach floodplain serves as the green backbone, connecting the two districts into a cohesive open space.
A new village center featuring local amenities, social facilities, and public squares is complemented by a diverse range of housing options and neighborhood-organized community structures.

This creates a place that reimagines the present and paves the way for the future.
