Award for exemplary construction for the community hall in Kirchheim am Neckar

We are proud: The community hall in Kirchheim am Neckar was honored by the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects in the “Exemplary Construction” award ceremony in the Ludwigsburg district!
The renovation of the community hall is exemplary in that it demonstrates how the revitalization and preservation of a building that has become outdated and worn out can be achieved.
The task was to accommodate important functions for the community, such as a daycare center and a sports hall, and to repurpose them within a limited budget. This presented an opportunity to redesign the existing building in such a way that it would take on new significance for the community through a variety of uses and could be used around the clock – from children in the morning to clubs on the weekend.
