MHP Arena as a “good practice example” of the Circular EURO 2024
July 2024
The UEFA EURO 2024 is currently on everyone’s lips. What is rarely talked about is the infrastructure behind such a major event. And the associated impact on the environment. In order to keep the ecological footprint of EURO 2024 as small as possible and to promote the topics of resource efficiency and the circular economy in society, the Ministry of the Environment has initiated the “Circular EURO 2024” project.
We are proud that our modernization of the MHP Arena is being presented twice in this context as an example of good practice: Firstly, as an example of the reuse of demolished concrete directly on site. Secondly, as an example of the documentation, cataloging and resale of materials and components in collaboration with concular. Both measures have made a significant contribution to the conservation of resources and a circular economy.
